Post N° 4 My Favorite film ending
I love japanese animated movies since i was a teenager. One of the reason is because of the ending of these kind of films and my favorite one is Spirited Away directed by the master Hayao Miyazaki. I love this ending particularly because of this nostalgic feeling that gives you, also it shows how a little girl grow up emotionally and even the spectator leaves the room feeling more mature.
The nostalgic feeling is because it start with a girl who get into a sort of cave when the car of his parent stop to rest a little bit. Then the movie begins and there is a lot of beautiful adventures that the girl lives but when she leave the place she just came back to see his parents doing the same thing that they were doing when they stop to rest. She must continue his ordinary life but of course she will never forget all the things that happens inside there.
I think that the whole movie is about growing up but in the emotionally way; Chihiro learns how to deal with a lot of troubles with the help of these imaginary people. It's cute to see how she learn about partnership, not be selfish or don’t stop to believe in the things you do. Its all a internal mind journey that Miyazaki shows us in a amazing and artistic way
But finally i think that any kind of people, no matter the age, that sees this movie when they leave the room they feel more wise. That's because that trivials problem that Chihiro solve can be a metaphor for real problems that we have in this days and at the end you realize that we never should stop to believe in ourselves and we never should stop the grow up and learn about the world.
